The boyfriend made it happened by booking a lane for Flow Rider. Balancing can be a pain in the ass especially when strong currents are in the picture. But, seeing friends tumble and fall made it all worth it. LOL! I’m not a sadist but hey you should try it out with your friends and you’ll understand how I feel. Hee hee.
So here I am bruised and sore and ready for bed….

9 days just ain’t enough. The sky is nicer with the perfect shade of blue, even the air seems fresher.
Whatever worries, stress I had, floated away the moment I landed in Bali. That’s the thing about going for a vacation eh. I feel free.. Don’t ya?

Waiting and waiting……
Today, like any other weekend or public holiday, I find myself at the usual Haig Road coffee shop waiting to have my favorite Wanton Mee for lunch. You see, I’ve been going to this place since …before i could even walk! This wanton mee is like comfort food me. After a busy week, where things are unpredictable and hectic, all I want to do is just go to my favourite coffee shop where i know the food will always be good.
Over the years, because of the noodle maker’s popularity, it has shifted from one place to another over a dozen times. Because when a store is that popular, it usually means the other stores around it …well…wouldn’t be a customer’s first choice. And of course, over the past few years with inflation and all, my bowl of noodles has increased from $2 to $2.50 to $3, which is still such a steal i must say!
But, even with all these changes, one thing still remains the same……The waiting time! During the shop’s busy hours like lunch time, it could take as long as 1 hour before you get your bowl of wanton mee which would only take you less than 10 minutes to devour! So, today, being a public holiday and all, i was expecting a crowd and boy, was I so wrong! It was more than a crowd, it was as if the whole of Singapore was there. But i needed my comfort food. So i waited….and waited…..
Lucky for me, i brought out my trusty iPad which fit perfectly in my new favorite bag, “Janus” http://www.bag-age.com/product.php?id_product=37! Usually i don’t like to bring out my ipad because i’m afraid of scratching with with my keys or purses when I put it in my bag. And I don’t like using the iPad covers coz it only makes it more bulky and in the end makes my bag look fat!
But “Janus” is perfect, the iPad fits perfectly in any of the 4 compartments of the bag and I would’nt have to mix with my other stuff that could potentially scratch my precious iPad. Have a look!
So after playing and completing 5 stages of The Creeps, my comfort food finally came. Bon Appetite!
So from one iPad user to another, find a place to get your fix of comfort food in under 10 minutes! Hehe…I’m kidding, good things come to those who wait.
